New Yankee Workshop Episode 2119

In this episode (originally aired in 1998), building a Morris chair, Norm used the following tools:

Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.

Norm used a plain board clamped to the Unifence as a sacrificial fence.

The clearly visible number on the rabetting plane sure looked like a “20” but a Stanley #20 looks nothing like it, whereas this plane is surely a #92. Fortunately, he uses it in another episode in which the number absolutely can be seen to be “92”.

The safety speech included video of a crosscut operation on the radial arm saw.

Norm added hearing protection to his safety advisory.

Field trip was to F. L. Wright Gallery, Tucson, Arizona (which appears to no longer exist).

New material for this project filmed on 16 July 2008.

This episode was processed based on the full length original broadcast by PBS.
