New Yankee Workshop Episode 2120

In this episode (originally aired in 1998), building a cupola, Norm used the following tools:

Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.

The P-C 853 with Drill 'n Drive chucked up were seen laying next to the frame and clearly were needed for a succeeding step but were not actually demonstrated.

Norm demonstrated a technique of resawing a miter joint with a handsaw to tighten the joint.

At the end of this episode Norm had a friend of Morash productions, Larry Stearns, of Vulcan Supply come in to build a copper roof for the cupola. All sorts of copper fabricating techniques were demonstrated, including bending sheets on a serious industrial brake.

The safety speech included video of a crosscut operation on the radial arm saw.

Field trip was to the then current This Old House project, Milton, Massachusetts.

New material for this project filmed on 16 July 2008.

This episode was processed based on the full length original broadcast by PBS.
