New Yankee Workshop Episode 1813

In this episode, building wall paneling, Norm used the following tools:

Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.

This is quite a list of tools for so seemingly simple a project.

Since episode 1809 perennial NYW heavyweights such as Bosch, Senco, and Lamello have been noticably absent, supplanted by the P-C (and inferior, in my view) equivalents. I don't appreciate the corporate take-no-prisoners attitude this appears to represent, and it flies in the face of the credibility Norm has established over 17 years (and more) of using the best tools, not necessarily the sponsor's tools. The anti-Norms are going to really hammer this when they discover it. They already believe the program is just a sponsor's showcase.

The safety speech included video of an operation on the router table (wide board).

Field trip was to past This Old House project in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts.

Project filmed 15 and 17 November 2005.
