New Yankee Workshop Episode 1708

In this episode, building a tilt top table, Norm used the following tools:

Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.

New Bosch jigsaw! It's impossible to tell the 1590 from the 1591 in the view we saw. I'm sure it'll be used again, and I'll be able to tell which one it is.

Again, the Lamello biscuit joiner was used and the Dosicol glue bottle was seen on the bench but not actually demonstrated. It obviously was used in the project, therefore.

Similarly, the roller glue bottle and the framing square were seen but not actually used.

Norm built a jig for use on the lathe to enable cutting the dovetails in the post.

The safety speech included video of an operation on the router table with a slip of the fingers.

Field trip was to the Otis House Museum in Boston, Massachusetts.

Project filmed 27, 28 July 2004.

This episode was processed based on the original broadcast by PBS.
