New Yankee Workshop Episode 110

In this episode, building a candle stand, Norm used the following tools:

Throughout Season One, a warning chyron appeared on screen concerning the use of a blade guard when operating a table saw.

Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.

Norm introduced us to a pad used to hold pieces while routing. It looks much like carpet pad, and was all the rage at woodworking shows in the '90s. They don't seem to be around anymore, replaced by much more effective pads.

Norm built a jig for routing dovetails in the base of the stand.

Field trip was to Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

This episode was processed based on the full length original broadcast by PBS.
