Getting this picture was not easy. Sears made two versions of electronic radial arm saw. Finding a picture of the other one is a snap—just do a search on ebay. But the first version, and the one Norm used, is quite rare. In fact, I've been looking for over five years for a picture of one. I finally hit pay dirt. Then, six years later, a fan sent me a better one.

In my opinion this was just another Sears solution looking for a problem ploy. The saw was hard enough to keep aligned without adding a lot of electronic gimcrackery to complicate matters.

Thanks to my friend Tristan Van Pelt, who provided an updated image.
