In this episode, building a cherry bathroom vanity, Norm used the following tools:

Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.

Norm often demonstrates checking for square but only occasionally shows how to fix it if it isn’t. This was one of them.

The safety speech included video of a crosscut operation on the radial arm saw.

Norm was carrying a Porter-Cable 7518 router—a big brute of a machine—in the opening introduction. The purpose was to introduce a router table based method of making raised panel doors on a router table featuring his new door making router bit set (CMT).

Field trip was to in a small town in Massachusetts.

Field trip was to a private residence under construction, almost certainly Norm’s home which was in progress at the time.

Thanks to my friend, Don Johnson, for pointing me to the actual field trip location.

This episode was processed based on the full length original broadcast by PBS.
