Biesemeyer Table Saw Fence

A Hall of Fame Tool

The Biesemeyer is highly regarded as a table saw fence among woodworkers. They pioneered the big box, solid angle steel, T-square style of after-market (and now OEM) fence. Interestingly, it first appeared on NYW in Episode 209, ran for 5 years when it was replaced by the Delta Unifence (coincident with the acquisition of the new Unisaw), a fine fence in its own right, and in 2001, Norm went back to using the Biesemeyer. It's cryptically noted on the NYW webpage that “it's easier to make sliding jigs for the Biesemeyer fence.
