New Yankee Workshop Episode 1702

In this episode, building a bermuda bench/table, Norm used the following tools:

Norm built a simple jig to rout a wide dovetail in the uprights to receive a cross piece.

The combination square was in evidence but wasn't actually demonstrated.

Some old tool friends showed up today that we haven't seen in a while: P-C 330 sander, Dosicol glue bottle, plug cutter.

A new video to accompany the safety speech was shown today. It was an operation on the router table with a very wide panel—it actually looked like the top for this project.

Field trip to Historical Society Museum, St. Georges, Bermuda.

Project filmed 20, 23 April 2004.

This episode was processed based on the original broadcast by PBS.
