I thought Norm only used this a couple of times, but as I review the episodes I find he's used it more than that.
It's handy for breaking the edges of work without having to break out the router.
As I recall you could actually see the name in one of the appearances. Depending on who sources them, it's sometimes labelled Slick Plane.
