There are certain jobs the big tools are just too much for, and a hobby-type rotary tool is the right choice sometimes. Either a Dremel or a Foredom have their advantages. For the Cowboy Sideboard project, Norm chose the Dremel. It appears he used the latest model, the 400, with the accessory plunge router base, the 335.

The rotary tool in the third picture (lower left) is not actually a 400, but the 400 is what Norm used. He also didn't use the guide fence accessory.
