This is a nifty arrangement for attaching drawer faces to drawer carcases. Devices similar to dowel pops (or dowel locating pins) are placed in 20mm holes in the face which is then pressed against the drawer carcase, locating the centers of the holes for the through fasteners. The dowel pops are replaced by nylon plugs with threaded metal inserts, into which bolts are driven from inside the drawer carcase, thus securing the faces. Reviews are mixed on various vendor sites.
