Quick-Grip Clamp

I thought these were a good idea when they first came out, and I bought several. However, I find them wanting because they don't hold reliably. There are some applications where they're okay, but I wouldn't depend on them for serious gluing or jigging.

My impression had long been that Norm only used them for a short time, echoing my experience, but as I go through the episodes, I'm surprised at how much and for how long he used them. There is no way I would ever have anticipated it acheiving Hall of Fame status.

In recent years the Irwin livery (below, left) from their acquisition of the line has been evident.
