Makita 2401B Miter Saw

For something like seven years, I’d identified this saw as a Makita LS1020, since it was quite similar to one I had once borrowed which predated my own LS1030. Recently a fan updated me, not only on the model, but with a picture of it, as well. Not content to leave well enough alone, I did a little searching and found more pictures. Here you can see either side.
